Website analytics and hosting
The site uses Seline Analytics to understand visits, referrers, campaign parameters and the broad device or browser used. Seline is configured as a cookie-free analytics service. It may process a short-lived daily identifier and approximate country rather than storing a raw IP address in the site analytics view.
Vercel hosts the website and may process technical request data needed to deliver, secure and diagnose the service. That can include an IP address, request time, requested URL, response status and browser information in infrastructure logs. Retention and processing by those providers are governed by their own policies.
Newsletter subscriptions
The newsletter form is provided by beehiiv. If you subscribe, beehiiv processes the email address and any subscription or engagement data needed to send and operate the newsletter. Subscribing is optional. Every marketing email should include an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time.
Do not submit confidential business, payment or health information through a newsletter form. This website does not ask for those categories of information.
Your choices and questions
You can browse without subscribing, leave the site instead of following an external link and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Your browser or network settings may also block analytics requests. External websites are responsible for their own privacy practices.
You can send a privacy question about this site to partners@penang-media.com with the subject "Privacy request". If your question concerns information held by beehiiv, Seline, Vercel or another linked service, that provider may need to handle the request under its own privacy process. Legal rights and available remedies depend on where you live.
